Stock Market Basics
Stocks are defined as company shares regarding ownership. If you own stocks in a company, your stocks are used as legal vehicles to claim certain percentages of the particular company’s assets and profits. Of course, the percentages of assets and profits you can claim from the company are dependent on the stocks you own in the company. You should also keep in mind that stocks, shares, and equity all mean the same thing when it comes to the stock market.
